Horizon Vascular Specialists Perform Ground Breaking Procedure on WW II Veteran

Albert Katoski faced death as a medic in the WW II Battle of the Bulge in 1944. His gallantry earned him a Silver Star. He faced death again in March 2011 when he had a rupture of his chest and abdominal (thoraco-abdominal) aortic aneurysm.

Drs. Jeffrey Wang and Robert Fox of Horizon Vascular Specialists performed a ground breaking minimally invasive procedure at Shady Grove Adventist Hospital to repair this usually fatal condition. Mr. Katoski went home in only 36 hours. Horizon Vascular Specialists are proud to have served the community for more than thirty years.
